Wendy began making mosaic tiles from home from her garden in
the early years of settling in Cornwall with her daughter.
Having always been a gatherer, reluctant to part with shards of
crockery collected locally, Wendy found great inspiration during her travels to
Mexico , Spain , Portgugal and Morocco . she identified with the element of the
haphazard, in using broken china and found objects to create something unique,
and so her tiles were born.
Her light and airy studio is a central part of her home in
Penryn where she makes and distributes her tiles to craft shops and galleries,
working on many private commissions of varying scales.
